Coaching Experience / Accomplishments and Accolades

As a member of a military family who has moved frequently, I have had the unique opportunity to coach a wide range of skill levels across Europe, Asia, and Texas. My diverse coaching background includes:

JV and Varsity Coach for Okinawa Christian School International (2009-2012)

Okinawa Volleyball Youth Camps (2009-2012)

UK Royal Air Force Volleyball Youth Clinics for 12-16 year olds (2013-2014)

Rockwall Heat Club Coach for 13s (2019-2020)

Rowlett Recreation Youth Volleyball Coach (Spring 2022)

Rockwall YMCA Youth Volleyball Coach (Fall 2022)

Rockwall Heat Club Coach for 16s (2023-2024)

Playing Experience / Accomplishments and Awards

Despite my stature at 5 feet tall, my specialty in defense, combined with training, hustle, and heart, has led to surprising achievements. I always tell my players, “Skill is great, but a heart with hustle is even better! Don’t ever think you’re too small to play!”

Skyline Volleyball Player (2000-2001)

Best Defensive Player, Garland (2002)

Air Force Europe Team (2005)

US Air Force Team (2006)

Germany Volleyball Tournament MVP (2014)

In 2014, while pregnant with my third child, I sustained a serious rotator cuff injury in my right shoulder. Although therapy has helped, my shoulder still has its good and bad days. Nevertheless, my passion for volleyball and youth remains stronger than ever. I am committed to coaching and playing as long as I can.

Coaching Goals

My goal is to see each girl not only improve in skill but also develop a confident heart that demonstrates good sportsmanship, supports her teammates, and shows wisdom on and off the court.

We are here to have fun and grow! I challenge players to become better people in all aspects of life—not just in defense and offense, but also in leadership, humility, patience, and communication.

The youth are our future, so let’s build them up!
